Why is there no talking here about one of the greatest actors of all time??

Brian Dennehy is great in First Blood, which is probably one of my favourite movies, but despite really liking him as an actor, I must admit I haven't seen him in very many films. For some reason, he never really got a lot of big roles in big movies, which is a shame. I agree that his performance in To Catch A Killer is great, especially the scene where he goes into the police station off his face and furious.

I would like to see In Broad Daylight again.....need to see if it is around anywhere...

Did you see him in the series Hap and Leonard? Vastly underrated

I too am surprised there's almost no threads here under his board. Well, there is one other than this thread but still...

He's been compared to Lee J. Cobb, a big powerful guy. But I have to say that Lee J. Cobb is the greater actor, that's not by any means a put down of Dennehy, just in the context of greatest actors of all time.

I don't recall whether he was mentioned in the "Greatest Character Actor" thread a few weeks ago, but he would certainly be a worthy candidate!
