I did.

I liked her, I just thought she was too weak for an Indy girl, unlike Karen Allen and Alison Doody, she just wined the whole time and screamed...

Oh yeah,I loved her.I saw Indy II five times at the movies when I was a teen and she was my hero ;-)

You're not supposed to like her character.
It's like Burke in Aliens. You're not supposed to like him either.

Her character is supposed to add a level of complexity to the story.
She doesn't fit in and disrespectful to other cultures.

Come on guys, she was the the Damsel in distress

And she still looks good, how can you not love Kate?

Rather than add a "level of complexity", she essentially added a stereotype and pretty lame comic relief. But at least she was beautiful.
