What was she thinking accepting that Borderlands role? What a flop of a film, she should fire her agent or something because girl this is not it. Now she is doing more TV work and low tier movies. Is she struggling to get roles lately that she now feels compelled to accept these obviously bad roles?

She's a great actress. She can phone it in for the rest of her days and it would not detract from the stellar performances she gave earlier.
From what I heard she only did Borderlands because she was bored during COVID lockdowns and desperately wanted something to do. I haven't seen the movie but from what I hear she's not the issue, the entire project was botched. It bears remembering the movie was originally an R rating that the studio demanded be reshot (they had to hire another director to do so) to become a PG-13. That wasn't her decision and isn't what she originally signed up for.
