I really wish she would win the oscar this year. She was fabulous as Joanna Hoffman; I thought she was definitely the heart of the film.
shareHer awards-begging just reeks of false modesty and false humour. She's doing everything she can think of to court the academy - including dropping hints of the inappropriateness of voting for Rooney Mara or Alicia Vikander because of category-fraud (not that she minded that when they did it for her in 95) and making sure she talks about DiCaprio everywhere so as to associate her nomination with his.
Oh I do hope she loses the oscar. I hope so even more than last time.
