I'm not being cruel, but what is with the indentation on the right side of her face? It doesn't appear to be a dimple. It is so noticeable, whenever she is on screen it is the only thing I see.

I did notice the scar, right about the beginning of season 2 of The Mentalist. I don't think the scar was there prior. The scar on her cheek is most likely from skin cancer and is consistent with MOHS surgery. I recently had this exact procedure done and my scar was almost identical. I hope this helps clear the mystery and clears the rumors. She deserves our support, since this procedure is done while you are awake and it is a very intense process.
I noticed that too. I think it gives her a little character and it's not that bad. She is quite attractive and has a nice set of lips too.
