Very lame. Should never remake that movie.

A very large shoes to fill... Edgar needs all the lucky in the world as well a hard work. Hollywood seems not to have any more new and fresh ideas for new movies...

That is totally true. Remakes are invariably a disaster...and this one is a hard act to follow.

No i dont think we would of been actually pissed. Point break was a great movie. Watching it as we speak. I for one welcome remakes, prequels, sequels, reboots. It doesnt make the originals any less good. It just contemporaries a beloved movie. Movies just keep getting better and better imo. Especially as technology gets better. Not only that, but it will bring in a new generation of fans. People who choose to see the new one and like it will probably check out the original

Patrick would have looked at the remake with an open mind. then quietly walk away thinking "me and everyone else in the original were SO MUCH BETTER"
