Do the math. If there are x amount of animals in shelters, and only y homes available for them, then (x - y) amount of animals will be euthanized. If you add in z amount of puppies from an accidental litter then there will be (x + z) amount of puppies in the shelter, and still only y amount of homes. This means there will still be y amount of puppies that get adopted, but now (x - y + z) amount of puppies die. (x - y + z) > (x - y) so now more puppies get euthanized. THAT is inhumane.
