Sorry to disagree, but she WAS born in 1955. She showed me her driver's license when we were working together at a con.

Hahaha... this is hilarious! Rina is a branch in my family tree, and she wasn't born in 55.

Think I heard somewhere she was born in 1959...but then again I read somewhere else she was born in 1964!?!?!

I don't think it really matters when she was born to be honest. What matters is that she's a talented and capable actress and convention-guest ;-)

Anyway, isn't it traditionally considered offensive to discuss and/or cast aspersions on a woman's age? (I'm too young to mind it yet myself though!)

If so, lucky you - nearest I come to being related to a celeb is probably through various relatives' involvements with fairly well-known football (or soccer, if you're in the USA) teams...

We're related by marriage, not blood. A relative of hers is married to a relative of mine. What I find funny is: When I tell people this or show them pictures of us together, their first reaction is "Yeah, you do look a lot like her!"

So, was Marina really born in 1955?, Is there any way to find proof?

For years Roxann Dawson was listed and her official website gives her birth year as 1964, but in the last few months its been said that she was really born in 1958 and IMDB lists that as her year of birth. People found proof from California Birth Records or something, I guess that can't be done with Marina since she wasn't born in the US.

What is it with Actors and lying about their ages?

I've seen her date of birth as 1960 in lots of places. And she can't have been born in 1955, there's no way she's 51 now!! LOL
