It's believed that sometime after his interview with Sean Penn and meeting with actress Kate del Castillo, Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman found time for a little bit of male-enhancement surgery.


The surgery—which is said to have taken place at a Tijuana hospital—improves the appearance, but also treats erectile dysfunction. He scheduled it despite being on the lam, and had it performed just a couple of months before his recapture.


The report comes from Reforma newspaper—a source told them, "During his six months as a fugitive (for a second time) El Chapo left his comfort zone on only one occasion and that was to go to Tijuana to fix his erectile dysfunction problem."


At the property where he was recaptured, authorities reportedly "recovered injectable testosterone, anti-inflammatories, prescribed sexual performance medication," $300 worth of sexual performance medication, and one book, "Swedish-made Penis Enlargers And Me: This Sort of Thing Is My Bag Baby," by El Chapo.

I just watched him on 60 minutes with Charlie Rose a few minutes ago and he was highly agitated, nervous and twitching his thumbs. He showed all the signs of someone who's in fear for his life. It's a matter of time before he is snuffed out or if they can't get to him another family member will be. Why he had to inject himself into the life and crimes of El Chapo is beyond me, but I wonder if it's because he's bored with life. Well, his boredom might cost him his life. As for that actress, it's just a matter of time before they get to her or a family member as well. You can't sit down and talk to sociopath's, especially one's that kill at will. These Hollywood people are just so unreal.

If someone is in fear for their life the last thing they would do is go on national tv to talk about what they are supposedly in fear of their life about. Crazy!!!

Sean Penn isn't your average guy. Most likely it was his way of reaching out claiming he wasn't in cahoots with the CIA or Mexican Feds. He was an emotional wreck last night to which even Charlie Rose admitted this morning on his show. I could care less about his politics, but he's toast. Just watch and see. The Cartels don't play by any rules.

I actually read the Rolling Stone article. The military was close on Guzman's tail before Penn even went there. Sean Penn's visit didn't cause Guzman to be caught.

Just because people read a few articles on the internet does not make them experts.

Why not get an issue of the magazine and read the article. It's not easy reading, but it is interesting to learn about Penn's journey to meet Guzman and the connection with Kate del Castillo.

The truth is nobody knows what's going to happen to El Chapo, Sean Penn, Kate del Castillo or the government officials who have allowed Guzman's business to flourish.

The cartel most likely won't read the article. They're not rational like you or me. He's a marked man. And yes, the minute he escaped they were onto him. But he was found right after the meeting with Sean and Kate. That's what they'll see. It's a matter of time, but the clock is ticking down right now.
