Why do people think she's nasty?
I haven't read any quotes, or seen any interviews, or read her blogs, magazine interviews or anything. I have seen a lot of her movies but never really heard anything, except recently and was quite surprised.

shareShe's made a few ignorant comments in which she criticizes Americans and the American way of life (she seems to forget that she's American herself). She also gloats about how good her life is in England and how good the English are. She also posts a monthly letter in which she tries to teach people how to live (provided you earn millions of dollars LOL). I don't know she comes off as stuck up and spoiled and then she tries to put this image of her as a hard worker or something like that. She has no sense of reality. I mean, maybe she's not nasty, but at least ignorant and classist.
shareShe doesn't come off as stuck-up to me. She always seems down to Earth in her interviews. Nothing about her comes off as nasty or stuck-up. People just like to judge and misinterpret people they don't know.
Rap is not pop. If you call it that, then stop.
Hmm.
This thread sounds to me like a lot of US americans are still in great ignorance about the status of their country.
George W. Bush jr has pretty much destroyed the good name the USA had in the world.
I heard even Superman no longer defends the "American way of life".

Always listen to your own advice.
Yes, thank goodness Gwyneth has taken advantage of the fact that America doesn't require an exit visa to leave. Now if only she'd complete her act of political integrity by renouncing her American citizenship, I could call her a person of her word (and one this country is well rid of).

Think cynical thoughts.
Leftist clown. You think Democrats are any better?
"They sucked his brains out!"
TAH DAH! Well said!
Jack's not dead! Jack would never die without telling me, first!
Yes, I do. While politics is rife with hypocrisy and cronyism, at least Dems back labor and the working class. After the much-beloved Reagan delivered deregulation and trickle-down economics, we've had an increasing disappearing middle-class. Reps only want to see rich people get richer.
I'm not a woman much less Deanna Durbin, but the old-time glam-shot appeals to me.
