What happened to the friendships with Madonna and Winona Ryder?
What happened to her friendship with Madonna? Earlier on she was also pals with Winona Ryder, what ended these relationships?

shareDon't know if this is true or not but if it is it is silly to end a friendship over something so trivial.
Rumor has it the falling out occurred when Madonna fired their shared personal trainer, Tracy Anderson, then told Gwyneth she should, too. When Gwyneth refused, Madonna terminated their friendship contract. In 2011, Paltrow alluded to the feud on her blog Goop when she wrote about an “insufferable” friend who left her feeling “drained, empty and belittled.”
Winona has a “major grudge” against Gwyneth because she believes the blonde-haired beauty made unflattering comments about her in an online lifestyle blog four years ago. And Winona also never got over Gwyneth beating her out for a plum role in the 1998 hit movie “Shakespeare in Love” – and winning an Oscar for it!
“Those comments were a huge embarrassment for her,” the pal said.
Didn't she snag the SIL script from Winona's home and then go after the part?
Neither GP nor Madonna seemed to have maintained their gal pals for long periods. Wasn't GP besties with Beyonce for a while?
I don't know if stealing the script from Ryder is true or not. Seems like hype, and I can believe the thing about Madonna. Why Madonna fired their trainer is beyond me. I have no idea if she is still friends with Beyoncé?
shareShe wasn't babysitting Blu Ivy - Jay-Z was sitting a row or two above Gwyneth, so Blu was there with her dad. I think her and B are still friends but I think Chris has always been better friends with them than her. G is very shrewd at picking the right friends at the right time - she is always besties with someone who's popular/ on the rise at the time - she does the same with her men. The way to stay famous is keep being friends with people more famous than you. Madonna did the same - she latched onto G right after she won her Oscar and was at the height of her fame. They were perfect for each other!
shareWhat does "categorically" mean anyway? Sounds like a cliched remark people fall back on to sound like they know what they are talking about, a little emphasis. She didn't just deny, she categorically denied. I don't quite get it.
I'm not a woman much less Deanna Durbin, but the old-time glam-shot appeals to me.
