I wish people would stop knocking Liam Neeson. He openly admitted he had racist thoughts (SEVERAL YEARS AGO), he openly admitted he was wrong when he felt the way he did (SEVERAL YEARS AGO), and he openly apologized for the way he felt (SEVERAL YEARS AGO). He is being unfairly scapegoated. LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!

Liam is great. I mean everyone is a racist. It's just some people pretend they aren't. It's just like alcoholism; once you admit it you can do something about it. But most people are in denial.

Also, wasn't the gist of his confession that we should applaud him as not being racist because he didn't kill a black guy? Do we pat a guy on the head for "not" being a misogynist because he had second thoughts about not stalking and beating a woman in a rage after his ex dumped him?
