Rob Lowe needs to be President...on TV.

I would love a West Wing-type show where Lowe plays the President. I know there would be a lot of comparisons but I think it could make for a good show. Maybe on HBO or something (Veep was a let-down anyways) where the dialogue can be a little more fierce.

Late to this party -

In one episode, Jed tells Sam that one day he'll be President and to not be scared. It's a perfect setup. But with Lowe's history of leaving shows, I don't know if he'd ever commit to a whole series. And yes, Sorkin needs to be involved or it wouldn't work.
