Was surprised to find out the last movie she did was in 2002!

It turns out, she was only taking a break from acting to pursue other things, like the Hawn Foundation. Now, after 15 years, she's FINALLY making another movie!

This beloved 70’s and 80’s star worked in some movies in the 90’s and still has A+ list name recognition and some popular offspring. The reason she stopped working in movies was not retirement so much as no directors ever wanting to work with her if she was cast because she always had final cut in her movies during the 90’s so they all ended up being bombs.

When asked why she hasn't made a movie since The Banger Sisters (2002), Hawn explained that she simply wanted to try new things. "I believe that life is about doing. It's about changing," Hawn said. "It's about transitioning. I can't imagine, as a human being, not being able to grow."

I can actually believe that an actress over fifty could go twenty years without getting offered a role she wanted.
