Snubbed

When is one of the greatest actors of our generation finally get recognition he has been constantly snubbed for Oscars and Golden Globes. What a shame and dont understand the hate. He is definitely better than Penn, Lewis, and Brody to name a few but has gotten no love with so many memorable performances, integrated in the culture, and has done just about anything. He must really be under the skin of some people.

I disagree, I think he is genuinely respected as an actor. Three Oscar nominations to date is nothing to be sniffed at, and he seems to me the type of actor who will get around to winning eventually. He is a wonderful actor who makes interesting career choices and I think his peers recognise this.

reply

Nominations isnt recognitions.
Losers arent winners.
Only three? He is better than most and when? His already done career roles.

reply

Nominations aren't recogonititions.
Losers aren't winners.

Then I guess you think Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sylvester Stallone, and John Malkovich are all losers. And says a guy who has probably never been nominated for an award of any kind.

reply

The tragedy just gets sadder and sadder

reply

He should have gotten an oscar for Natural Born Killers.

reply

They'll toss him that Honorary Oscar eventually.
