He stopped because it was legalized and thus it wasn't fun anymore.

LOL. Actually in an interview Woody stated he is smoking pot again and it was Willie Nelson who convinced him. Oh and btw most people who do engage in pot didn't stop once it became legalized. That is an absurd notion in my opinion.
