Why was she terminated from Becker?
What is she doing now?
It is still unclear as to why they fired her from the show (Terry's a very private person)
As far as what she's doing...she's been doing TV movies and stuff. She also got married last September.

It is said that she left (was kicked from) Becker for the same reason she left DS9: She wanted (much) more money. Too much money...

shareOddly enough, she wanted more money for trek, but they couldn't come to an agreement. But then a matter of months latter, Paramount hires her for becker for the ammount she was after in the first place. This is what I heard.

I don't know about the money thing, from what I have heard she left DS9 to do Becker. I heard she left Becker because they wanted to take the show into a new direction. I guess they wanted him to have a relationship with a leading lady, but not Terry, so they brough in Nancy Travis. It'd be neat if Terry came back for guest spots.

shareFrom what I heard she left DS9 for a shot at Becker. It was the same money but the work and hours were less. On an hour long sci fi show an actor can tend to work anywhere from 14-18 hours per day. An 1/2 hour sitcom takes much less time to produce. So even for the same money, she is not working as much therefore it is like a payraise.
She was fired from Becker for 2 reasons from what I also heard and read. These reasons are strictly speculation.
1) She was one of the 5 co stars that were "sick" a few years back when they held out for more money. The producers and the studio called them and told them they better "get better" within that day or else they would be sued for breach of contract. Everyone showed up the next day except for Farrell.
2) She wanted more money of course. Because of the walkout a season before when it come time to resign their contracts everyone was asked except for Farrell and the guy that played Bob. They were both let go.
3) They wanted Becker to have a relationship with a woman but not Reggie. Out goes Farrell and in come Travis. I never cared for that relationship or the show after that change anyway.
This is what I read on gossip sites and other news sites. As I said. None of this is confirmed just speculation. Treat this entire post as you would a rumor.
The bottom line is that the only people that know what happened to Farrell on Becker is CSB, the producers of Becker and Farrell herself.
