Yep, agreed.

Didn't work for me either (his movies).

One thinks he was comedically much better suited for SNL.

However, Farley was hugely successful in both venues.

There were really only three movies in which he was the lead. Tommy Boy is considered a comedy classic while Black Sheep and Beverly Hills Ninja are not.
