shareMaybe he doesn't think headlining is something grand anymore. Not every actor wants to do blockbusters for the rest of their career. You can only wish to have a resume as respected as his is.
shareHe hasn't done any memorable movies since his last Batman, and that film itself sucked. Ford VS Ferrari is the first film he's been in that got much notice in awhile.

You must be really uninformed about what he's done. Sure, not all his movies are blockbusters, but in the film community, he is well respected for his roles in big and small films. You seem to only focus on big blockbusters, but the world of cinema is full of lots of other well-respected smaller films that aren't playing at your local cineplex. You sound as if you are a very young person, so I will give you a pass on not knowing much about Bale or film in general.
