Outside of those directly involved in the investigation no-one, regardless of expertise, can say with any certainty what the situation is, and what the outcome will or should be, because none of us knows the full story. There's a reason these things take so long. That said, it's a topic that's quite rightly being discussed at length across the media, and understandably passions run high.
Alec pointed a pistol at someone and killed them. Alec didn't know it was dangerous? Alec was the producer, Alec was the trigger puller ... how complicated does it need to be? If he was Jose Suarez, migrant worker, would it be less complicated?
If he was Jose Suarez, illegal migrant worker, he'd get $450,000 from the Obiden administration for breaking our immigration laws while tax-paying citizens have every bank deposit of $600 or more scrutinized by the IRS.
Locker room lawyer

They all describe the same thing - people who think that watching a couple of law related shows like Judge Judy or People's Court give them a law degree.
Thanks for proving my point about people turning this in to a political thing instead of waiting for the outcome of the investigation and if any charges result, the results of that.
A similar thing happened on the set of the Twilight Zone movie in '82. Vic Morrow and two kids were killed.
