By the time a person is in their 20s, they have a solid sense of self, and by 28 they are well into adulthood.

I see what your problem is. You're infantilizing a grown woman who was well into her late twenties as if she was incapable of having the agency or maturity to make her own decisions on who she wanted to pursue to marry.
You should get over thinking of women that way. She wasn't some helpless 13 year old naif. There was no 'abuse of power' going on here unless you're infantilizing her into thinking she's not capable of making decisions for herself. This is nothing like the power imbalance in the workplace where a woman depends on her employment to earn a living and can feel powerless when subjected to sexual harassment by her boss.
The power of money, fame, and success can be abusing when coercing younger poorer, misguided women. She might be legally able to think for herself but she dont know any better. The imbalance of power in the workplace isnt just limited to that in the workplace it's all over the globe.

Look, seeing how they're both consenting adults I just don't see what your hangup is. Earlier in the thread you appeared to have no problem with her marrying him for his fame and money. So why are you so quick to judge him for marrying her for the sex? View it as strictly a transactional relationship if you want, there's nothing morally or ethically wrong with it. And who are you to say they aren't in love or compatible with one another? These sort of age discrepancies are far more common between marriage partners in other cultures than here in the US, but it's pretty common among the wealthy classes here too.
