Glad to hear you're in the new Indy --- you were the subject of many young men's fantasies when Raiders came out ;) Besides that, you're truly talented and completely deserve this!!!!!

shareThey should have probably had Marion Ravenwood in at least one other Indiana Jones film prior to 4. I never thought it was right that they tried to match Indy up with a new woman in every movie, after all, Indy's love for Marion was the central part of the first movie -- a love that lasted after all those years of adventuring -- and a love that moved Indy to even want to destroy the Ark of the Covenant.
Then again, Indy may be taking from a page of Norm Peterson from Cheers: "Women, can't live with them, pass the beer nuts..." They may still have been oil and water for the most part.
As far as having Karen Allen back I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy. So is so talented and so beautiful. To me her Marion was the archetypical feisty feminine wise-cracking dame that is incredibly vulnerable, charming, aluring, sexy, intelligent, funny, and endearing. I hope they wrote a good role for her.
I also home that Marion is Indy's love interest in the film. People keep talking about Cate Blanchett being in the film. I think she would do well if she was also Indy's daughter as Shia being his son. Shia could have a crush on Cate for about half the time until he realizes that she's his older sister and then... "Ick!" but whatever.
I also hope a grown up Short Round shows up. That would be nice closure.
Karen was extremely good in all the movies I've seen with her, Raiders, Scrooged, Animal House and Starman. She seems so warm and friendly.
shareI can't belive it! I love her! I just watched Starman the other day.What a great movie. She is so pretty and warm, down to earth. It's hard to belive she is 55 years old though. Time sure flies by.
I'm glad she's back! I thought the chemistry between Marion and Indy in Raiders is what made the movie so great! That and the special effects and the script and Steven Speilberg! I'll definitely be checking out Indy 4!
