Does anyone know why she either opted out of futher Indiana Jones films after Raiders or perhaps they wanted to do the James Bond route with different women for every film? Back then, Hollywood was a bit anti-woman in that regard. Name 10 action film sequels where the leading lady actually returned, for example.

Remember, one was set AFTER their journey and the other BEFORE and Lost Crusade could have had her...but according to the story provided, Indy and Marion were already split in different directions. And the one with Willie, that one was set before the journey. Karen always said she had a big ego when she was a younger actress,maybe some of that stuff might have been true, but it seems they all patched up their friendships,and they forgave her. We have to remember she was younger, and had only done a few films prior to Raiders.
