RDJ was terrible casting,Stark isn't some failed comedian. At least Affleck can act serious under good direction and plus like Stark hes had his own personal problems

Agreed, I also thought RDJ nailed it. I like Ben Affleck but he'd be too heavy and serious as Stark.

Yes RDJ has a lot of range , he can be dark , funny , action packed , affleck is more suited to as you say , more serioys roles , loved him in Argo

RDJ has no range he portrays stark like a failed comedian. I haven't been impressed with him as an actor

Have you ever read Iron Man comics? Stark is a very serious character has the weight of the world and had had personal issues

To be honest - very few. But not sure it matters given the style the MCU was made in.

Thats the problem with the mcu its too corny besides Winter Solder and the Netflix stuff,they are afraid to show the characters who they really are and hold them back
