A 47 Year Old Woman Having a Baby?

Okay ever since I've seen the trailers for this movie, it truly has been bothering me.

I like Renee, glad she's back on the big screen, been waiting for her return, but this??

Come on. I see it's getting charming reviews but I just can't buy it, I can't. She's 47 years old and she looks every minute of it, that is not a knock at her, nothing wrong with looking your age, so it just looks off to me that a woman of her age would not only be pregnant but not know who the father is.

I'm not sure how old they're trying to sell her in the movie, but if it's anything under 42, that's not going to work either and that's pushing it. I thought she looked 50 in the movie trailers, but she looks younger in her interviews but not by much.

So I'll be skipping this one....I wish if they were going to bring back Bridget Jones, it was something more realistic, this seems so far fetched. :(

Glad to see she has other projects on the horizon though.

you're joking right? I have 3 of my own, had two of them at once without any help from the science lab either...geez. Just because I think that a woman who is 47, who I honestly thought was 50, was having a baby and didn't know who the father is was a dumb idea for a movie, that comes off to you as having no life experience? Honey, I have more life experience than I know what to do with at this point except to pass it on to my children and hope they listen, but you know kids, they won't.
