They'd been a bit of a 'grapevine' rumour (doing the rounds on similar sites) that Bruce had some mental health issues...but most of us put it down to laziness and complacency on his behalf?
It has been that bad since almost the day this place started. I cannot imagine why they continue to allow the foulest of language and all the sick crap. Why advertisers pay to keep a place like this going is beyond my understanding.

shareThat's reasonable. I was there from the beginning on IMDB, and at the end it was terrible. The problem for the studios was that their content was garbage and they refused to improve. Now there is a lot of competition in movie and series content.
I mean, just a question of course, but how much does money drive your life? Can you blame the studios except for the fact that they had a crap product for the most part. And the news is even worse. This was more about Amazon not wanting to support anything that could negatively impact them. And given Amazon produces movies and sells/rents movies why would they want to support a forum that served to warn people of shitty movies?
