Bruce Willis' family release statement regarding health/retirement from acting

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/bruce-willis-stepping-away-from-acting-after-aphasia-diagnosis-1235122473/

To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.

This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support. We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him.

As Bruce always says, “Live it up” and together we plan to do just that.

Love,
Emma, Demi, Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel, & Evelyn

That really sucks, despite his sometimes bad choices in acting roles I really liked him.

Get the fuck off this site.

reply

Nope sorry, keep making excuses for the death jab.

reply

It's been an open secret Bruce Willis has been in mental decline for many, many years, but hey, any reason to act like an asshole, right?

reply

I have suffered from dysphasia (or aphasia) for years due to a neurological condition. Many, many years before the covid vaccine. So if I started having issues again I'm sure you would tell me that it was because of the vaccine.

reply

Not saying it caused it but there is a link to it and that is an official government site....I'm reading more that he was having these issues for years so I'll retract the vaccine link.

reply

Thank you

reply

Certainly could be a cause. There are proven links between jabs and blood clotting.

“The most common cause of aphasia is brain damage resulting from a stroke — the blockage or rupture of a blood vessel in the brain. Loss of blood to the brain leads to brain cell death or damage in areas that control language.”

Ok bring in the koolaid drinkers incapable of thinking for themselves.

reply

Sorry to hear this. He's had a very colorful career and has been a part of so many memorable films. Hope he gets better but Aphasia is not easy to deal with.

reply

he can play Joe Biden in movie

reply

Ah man, this is awful. Unreal. What a terrible way for a movie tough guy to finish his career and live out the remainder of his life.

Get the fuck off this site.

reply

Why the fuck are you so God damned hostile? Get his cock out of your ass.

reply

Just thinking the same thing as read your post. Very aggressive when just saying it how we all see it.

I'm guessing it must be fairly advanced for this statement to have been made 😕

reply

I'm not shocked.

It explains why he's done so many mediocre movies in the last two years where his involvement is typically ten minutes of screen time filmed over a day or two. He's trying to make as much money as possible even while his ability to memorize long stretches of dialogue is diminishing.

I recently posted about his performance in Midnight in the Switch Grass released last year. In one particularly awkward scene he certainly was reading his lines like they were posted on a wall out of sight of the camera.

IT IS VERY SAD...HE USUALLY USES AN EARPIECE(WHICH ARE OFTEN VISIBLE IN SHOTS).

reply

Will Smith gunna get angry because they were making fun of his affliction, without knowing he had an affliction.

reply

Yeah it explains a lot. Major bummer. I pray Bruce lives out his days in peace and happiness.

Very sad news. I hope that he can still live a good life. It sounds like a very challenging issue. I wish him the best.

reply

Truth be told, I actually don't mind *some* of his more recent DTV stuff (and obviously so do others....hence their mass-production) so I'm unsure as to why he couldn't continue with this (albeit, limited) formula? (in his current condition)

However, this joint family 'statement' must clearly be a public notice of retirement, and would now likely affect him (insurance-wise) for any future roles?
So as it stands, I'd like to wish him good health and a happy retirement?
