Rumours are he might retire.
Outside of "Boogie Nights" and "The Departed", I really don't care for the shitty movies he's done.

Me either.
Didn’t like the Departed either.
And only good thing about Boogie Nights was a stark naked Heather Graham.
Lone Survivor (2013) was good.
shareHe’s kinda blacklisted for being Christian. The Jews he work for are not too happy about that. This is what triggered the retirement plans.
shareMark Wahlberg is a Christian with a Jewish last name? You gotta be kidding me, given his last name, you'd think he was Jewish...anybody with a last name ending in berg is usually a Jew.
shareI blacklist him for being a shit actor with a terrible past that he never apologized for.
shareHe does not have great range, but is good if he sticks to roles he can play well and often.
I am not sure where you are getting him never apologizing for his past. He has been very open about it and personally contacted the victims and apologized to them.
'He does not have great range, but is good if he sticks to roles he can play well and often.'
This. Not a great actor, but 'good at what he's good at' if you get my meaning. He really surprised me in Ted. Guy's got a great knack for comedy.
The Yards & Perfect Storm (2000) the Italian job (2003) Invincible (2006) & Deepwater Horizon (2016) stand out the most to me. He has had a pretty much hit or miss career overall..
