Nighthawks was a great yet sadly forgotten thriller.
Stallone, Hauer, Williams…good cast, fine movie.
Yep, totally agreed. For Sly, probably only Rocky part 1 and the first Rambo - First Blood I think it was called - those are the only two movies he ever did (IMO) that eclipse "Night Hawks".
shareRocky and First Blood are fine movies. I’ve read the First Blood novel by David Morrell three times, it’s a bit different from the movie but it’s excellent.
If you love Sly check out his show ‘Tulsa King.’ It’s a fast paced crime story with some good characters and Stallone is the star. It’s very good👍

He was better as a writer/director than an action star to me. But some of the movies he wrote were not very good.
Liked all the Rockys except for Rocky 5. Never really liked Rambo. The Expendables 1 and 2 are good. 3 is disappointing.
