It's a matter of preference. I personally love the majority of his movies. Close Encounters of the third Kind being my favorite.

People have already mentioned a BUNCH of movies of Spielberg's that are great, but nobody's yet mentioned Bridge of Spies, so I'll throw that on the pile of Spielberg's great movies.
Overrated? Maybe. "Only good movie is ET"? Not even close.
