Yeah, I've always liked Kevin Spacey. I think I've come to realise that a lot of celebrities are extremely self-absorbed and flawed individuals (who all seem to have alcohol problems).
There is Johnny Depp accused of assaulting his wife, Brad Pitt accused of being aggressive with his son and now Kevin Spacey being sexually aggressive... even if they didn't do what they're accused of, I've come to see them as deeply flawed individuals. I guess it's just a wake up call.
It's sad because it's so rampant in the industry. These people acquire fame and status and they do it seemingly while trading in their humility and common decency. I'd rather party with the poor.
Or maybe it's just the norm once you get status, fame, and the likes. Can't really blame these people imo. Also I wouldn't just stop watching someone just because their private life is messed up. I watch movies for the actors/actresses that I admire or perform and don't mix it with whatever real life issues they have.
I don't think a lot of famous actors are abusive or unprofessional as Spacey is being accused of, despite flaws. So I don't know if it's the norm or not.
That would make him look like he's shielding an abuser. And, why shouldn't he share that he found Spacey to be a bully when they worked together, and that as an admirer, the experience was disheartening?
