King of the C-List?

Wouldn't quite go D-List, but damn Keanu is now cranking out a pretty healthy volume of movies, with directors and many actors you've hardly heard of...I guess it's only a small sliver of A-Listers who can stay entrenched on said A-List, over the course of even more than a decade.

And let's face it, he didn't land on the A-list in the first place, based on his acting chops.

Still a pretty good run...and career, for a one-trick pony. Maybe the Burt Reynolds of his generation?

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

Fan or not, you'd have to admit he's not known for his range, or ability to immerse himself into a character or role. One of the reasons I became a fan was because I was impressed at how the same guy was behind both Neo and Ted. He actually got typecast as both characters, and they're nothing alike to me. His range is down to underacting rather than overacting - his characters are often template outlines of people that the audience helps to fill in, where he leaves enough room for interpretation that it makes it easier for us to see ourselves as that character. I wouldn't say it's bad acting - bad acting is when the actor is being fake and unnatural. At worst he could be accused of non-acting, but it's a style I like. All his characters are different to me. They may have similarities, as is the case for most actors' characters, but different enough that I'd be able to tell them apart in real life. And let's face it, Reeves himself has spoken of his lack of offers for roles nowadaysFair enough, you were right there.
