Really sad! What kind of surgery was he having?

Poor Bill... He was way too young to die. My late sister always used to tell me I looked a bit like him.

What kind of surgery was he having?

reply

Heart surgery... I don't know any more details.

reply

That's really too bad. Bill was a great actor and director that will be sorely missed. One of the first films that I saw him in was "Twister."

reply

Have you seen the movie he directed, Frailty? He was talented in directing as well... I wish he would've done more of it.

Good idea, I'll rewatch it too.

reply

Indeed he was!

I have not seen "Frailty"...but intend to check it out soon in his honor.

On that note, I can guarantee you that I will be watching a few of his films tonight.

reply

frailty is awesome i love those types of movies i wont say which type that is but frailty is one of the best
another is tallman and most recently man down which starts slow but is brilliant

reply

I loved Tall Man as well, even thought it wasn't generally well accepted (I don't know why), I love those twisted movies.

I haven't watched Man Down, but I will check it now.

I just finished watching mini-series Hand of God which has somewhat similar premise as Frailty, maybe you'd like it. I thought it was good.

reply

Yes, Frailty was really good!

Yup. Complications after heart surgery. That's all I could find on the various news threads.
