Why has Jack Nicholson disappeared?
Does he have dementia? Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins are the same age he is and they're still working.

shareBc he got a % of Batman's gross. doubt Pacino or Hopkins ever got paydays like that
shareHe does not have to...
shareI've read that he has memory issues, so he just decided it was time to retire.
shareHe actually stated publicly a number of years ago that he needs to retire because he could no longer remember his lines. Very sad!
share'He doesn't want to face reality': Jack Nicholson's friends fear he will die alone like Marlon Brando because he lives like a 'recluse' in Mulholland Drive mansion - and hasn't been seen since LA Lakers game over a year ago

*Jack Nicholson's friends are airing concerns about the star's reclusive nature
*The disquiet was aired by insiders close to the 85-year-old A-lister
*They say Nicholson is holed up in his luxurious Mulholland Drive mansion
*Rumors are swirling about the star's allegedly deteriorating health
*Actor was last seen in October 2021 with his 30-year-old son at a Lakers game
The man is 85 years old. If he wants to chill and take it easy in his own home then he should be entitled to that.
He's likely not fit enough to be attending events and to be out meeting people.
my friend is family friends with nicholson, and also an indie filmmaker. he once said that jack promised to "come out of retirement" to act in one of his projects. he also admitted that would never happen, because jack has hardcore memory issues brought on by alcoholism.
shareThat's sad to hear but he's well into his 80s so it's well assumed he was already retired.
shareHe's retired. Whatever the reason, he hasn't disappeared. He still attends Laker games.
