Why he's not working frequently in the past few years?

share"The Love Guru" (2008) effectively killed his film career, along with Jessica Alba's career as well. In fact, this film is widely regarded as one of the worst films in cinema history...and for good reason. It's so bad that it currently has a "14% rotten" rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
shareI figure it may be because he comes across (and likely is) a control freak. He is known to he quite difficult to work with and that’s almost always the case with a control freak.
From what I've heard, his reputation is somewhere between "difficult" and "widely loathed". That sort of thing is not good for the career in the long run, because you get fewer second chances if nobody wants to work with you.
If he wants to work at all, of course.bif I had his money, I wouldn't!
I haven’t liked him since his arrogant ass decided he wants to play several different roles at once in his films.
shareHe dealt with some grief and tragedy in his personal life that hit him in a bad way. Basically felt he lost the magic. On top of that, he's very difficult to deal with. Now he's doing that whack job Gong Show gig. Comedians never seem to have a long stay in the movie buiss.
