Nobody want's to see 'The Razor's Edge'

Sorry Murray Ole Chap, as it turns out millions upon millions wanted to see four fat old guys chasing ghosts. What people didn't wanna see however was your smug, pretenius, little Razor movie that's stupid

reply

YES, that movie was too long and boring but he was so sure he would get Oscar nominations for actor and writer and when he didn't he was so pissed off. He wanted to be taken as a serious actor instead of a comedian.

reply

Didn't he threaten not to do Ghostbusters II unless he got this role?

reply

You appear to be smug and pretentious

It's actually a decent rendition of a classic novel

While Murrays performance was maybe not Oscar worthy it was very good

You need to watch it aometime

You don't have to stand tall, but you do have to stand up!

I enjoyed the book and the movie. I found Murray's acting to be far better than the acting in the old black and white version.

reply

I saw the1940's version. It was OK.

solid movie.

I saw it and loved the film and Bill Murray was excellent. I even posted a review on imdb. It is worth a view.

reply

Agreed. It's hard to go wrong when the story is by W.S. Maugham.

Way back in the day, a good friend of mine saw it and loved every minute of it...said it was the best movie he had ever seen. My friend was a little 'off' and very very immature, so I was expecting his usual choice of sex filled laugh out loud comedy. After watching it though, I (surprisingly), saw my friend a little differently and started wondering what really made him tick. In school, he had been labeled a slow learner and hyperactive, but he was hilarious to hang out with and was sex crazy and liked to get high... And apparently, (unbeknownst to the rest of us), somewhere deep down inside, he was a thinker and wanted more out of life. So yes, this movie is worth seeing.

It's over 30 years ago and made some money so why complain now
