In the end, it might all break even, if we're lucky. We don't know yet, because it was rushed, not properly tested, and not enough time has passed to see all the mid-term and long-term effects. We'll probably never be told the truth, because it quickly became an ideological/political issue, rather than a medical/scientific one. The leftist pro-vaccine powers that, unfortunately, run the country, and their minions the mainstream news media, will make sure we're never allowed to know the real story.

Jenny McCarthy has been anti-vax before it was cool and her actions are certainly harmful.
The COVID vaccine has no long term effects because there can't be any tests yet. We'll see. But, so far, I haven't noticed a massive mortality spike amongst the vaccinated. At worst, it seems to be a wash. And for every anti-COVID-vaccination person saying, "Long term effects," you'll find somebody in a surgical mask saying, "Long COVID!"
