Jesus movies

His Passion of the Christ movie was quite the critical and financial success, but he seems to not want to expand on that when there's a whole demographic starving for Jesus movies (I'm not one of course). I didn't even care for PoC but it is eons ahead in style and structure than that odorous excrement made by Kirk Cameron, and I imagine that from his success he would strive to make more.

Hacksaw Ridge was pretty pro-Christian.

It wasn't a critical success. One review I read made perfect sense. The reviewer said a movie should make sense even if you haven't read the book. People who didn't know anything about it were saying he didn't make it clear why those people hated that nice Mr. Jesus, and why they killed him there at the end. People who love his movies say he sure is a great story-teller. A lot of his movies are less popular now than even the Die Hard franchise, which isn't going to be confused with art. He has his gory little niche, and folks are less and less enamored of it as time goes by.

I came here to find out how that Resurrection movie was going, but maybe the answer is Not at all.
