Such a pity. She has it all, looks, intellect, culture, she even speaks French fluently... yet lesbian. Ugh... shame.

I think she dated men in her youth, but preferred women. I think she majored in French in college. Would be cool if she did a French film. I recall in my 20's, the horror my friends felt when George Michael came out. It is hard when your fave celeb marries, or you find out they are part of the GBLT community, but it's their life. Just respect them and enjoy their work.
