Harrison Bored
Why does he always sound so tired or bored? Is he permanently stoned?
shareJust the way he sounds. It wont get better either. Hes almost 80 and I'm sure hes way more tired than he was 25 years ago. So he will sound tired for real now. Getting old is not for the weak...
Just be happy he still has the energy and enthusiasm to still do Indiana Jones at his age. Most people dont want to get off their fat asses at 30 or 40...
It may just be bad direction or he knows that people will want to see him no matter what. Honestly the only films Ive seen him in where he legitimately looked like he wanted to be there were Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, Raiders Of The Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Blade Runner 2049.
shareI think he seemed enthusiastic in his early films, up until about 2000. I get the feeling, though, that he has tired of the movie business, and tired of fame, and quite possibly loathes Hollywood.
shareI just don't understand people who can't enjoy their priviledged ride. Sure, privacy is the cost of their fame and fortune, but it can be protected, its just costs only money which these people have plenty. No need to turn grumpy and sour.
shareYeah this always annoys the piss out of me.
It's like, dude you've generated like $5 billion for Hollywood and are worth hundreds of millions of dollars. He can buy whatever he wants and go wherever he wants and just retire if he wants. Heck, he could have become a neurophysiologist in his spare time, or worked on funding the improvement of robotic prostheses, yet he's always grumbling and mumbling and being a general disinterested, truculent old man. Reminds me of an older version of Bruce Willis.
I have the impression he was touched by the industry, remember when he was basically retired early 00's and then his plane crashed and he had that thing fall on him on a set.
Dunno bit spooky maybe he wanted out but Hollywood wanted the Indy and Star Wars $$$ and he's doing it against his will.
I do get the feeling of a Faustian pact in a lot of these Stars i mean look at De Niro
Hmm, yeah I remember those incidents... interesting you bring those up.
Kind of reminds me of when Scott Eastwood was in that near-fatal crash and his girlfriend died instantly but he survived, and shortly after that he started having a meteoric rise in Hollywood.
i always find his attitude annoy.
i always prefer mark hamill to him in star war because at least he have some life to him!!
