Who is this generation's Tom?

No one.

reply

Tom is this generation's Tom and it isn't even close. Even Leo and Brad Pitt can't open a movie. Tom stands alone.

Chamolet and Holland are distant B-listers given their favorable propping up by the media, but even they completely dwarf what the media thinks of that pie faced weirdo Florence Pugh, who no one normal even has heard of and couldn't open a movie if her life depended on it.

I just saw he's in the running man remake and I was thinking of his seemingly upward trajectory already, so if not Michael B Jordan it's probably going to be:-

GLEN POWELL

reply

I haven't seen him in any action movies yet where he's showcasing his fighting etc.

reply

Does Leo DiCaprio count as this generation? Lots of hit movies, leading roles, staying power.

He's not on the level of Tom Cruise, but then again I don't know who else is.

reply

Leo is too old. But can he do action like Tom can anyway?

reply

No, he can't do action like Tom, but Tom is in a class of his own regardless of generation.

reply

ADAM DEVINE...TINY MAN WITH A SILLY FACE.

reply

Stop.

reply

IT'S TRUE.

reply

There are no blockbuster movie stars anymore, no matter how much they try to push Zendaya on us. Tom Holland and Timothee Chalamet too for that matter.

reply

TRUE...BUT ALL THREE OF THE ACTORS YOUU NAMES ARE TALENTED TOP TIER PROFESSIONALS...THE NEW HIGH WATER MARK NOW THAT MOVIE STARS IS A DEAD CONCEPT.

reply

Elliott Page.

reply

Who's she?

reply

Someone that generates as much controversy as Tom Cruise.

reply

Tom Cruise is still this generation's Tom Cruise.

reply

I would not compare their physicality, Cruise is clearly a fearless dude but Rami Malek has done very good non-stunt drama and thriller work. I think Malek is the real deal, I just don’t see him hanging off a helicopter like Cruise totally would.

reply

Malek played a gay man with crooked teeth and a mustache. Is there anything he can't do?

reply

It was a very nice performance!
