Fantastic actor, incredible self-stunts and seems a likeable guy

I wish he wasn't in Scientology the Cult, but it's his choice.

Maybe it's a buy-off to repel the Hollywood elite paedophile cults from harming or bullying him?

TC is the last of the great Hollywood movie stars. And, probably one of the last white, straight males Hollywood will allow to take the lead and/or heroic role in a movie. And only because he’s grandfathered-in via some lucrative franchises.

Sarcasm?

The tabloids say he's not straight, so that must be true. Because the tabloids say so.

Clint Eastwood, the only movie star who can be mentioned in the same sentence as John Wayne, has said he believes Cruise will be the most revered star of all. I know Clint Eastwood is a legend and that he knows whereof he speaks—although I much prefer Clint Eastwood over Tom Cruise.

I will always be a Tom Cruise fan. The Scientology shit sucks, but he's still a rad dude.

Not only will he be forever immortalized as Maverick in Top Gun, but he's been in a hell of a lot of other great films as well and is a true MOVIE STAR. Just the other day I was telling a friend that, while it has become very common for film actors to cross over to television, if Tom Cruise did it it would feel weird to me. And there aren't many other actors that I'd say that about at this point.

You also have to respect his skills, abilities and sheer drive to push the limit. Just look at everything he learned, and all the stunts he performed, just to make M:I Fallout happened.

The dude is a true legend.

I don’t know Tom Cruise socially. I think very few people do but I have worked on some of his productions.
At one time he even knew my name. Tom Cruise is highly professional, extremely motivated and with a laser focus.
He is very skilled at running a production and a talented actor. If a production is a head of schedule me may gift the crew with high-end catering & alcohol. He would then walk around the party holding a beer he never drinks and glad hand the crew with a huge fake smile before retreating to his trailer for phone calls to lawyers, insurance companies or producers.

Tom Cruise is a very private person. Very few are part of his inner circle. I suspect he has very few real friends. He strikes me as a sad person. Someone who is not happy. I know this sounds strange given all his wealth, his toys, his fame, his looks & all the opportunities , all the doors that swing wide open for him.
He strikes me as a person who has acted for so long that he has lost his true self.

I have never seen him teach or talk about Scientology during production.

But yes, I don’t think TC is an evil person. I think he tries to do as much good as possible.

Jackie Chan made a fortune by doing his own stunts. The worse he was hurt, the bigger his box office. The star is infinitely more important than the stunt double. The days of The Fall Guy are long passed. Time for stunt doubles to repurpose themselves, just like retail clerks. CGI and AI are here to stay, at least for a while. being human is passé. Deal with it, or suffer.

Czechers21 : The business is messed up. It has become such in the past 10 years. I have lost so many friends and colleagues to injustice and politics. It's a fear driven environment, replaced at any second. Yes, wages are reduces with every new production. But if you don't want the gig boatloads behind you are for less cash. Being a white man works to my disadvantage as requirements are to have a diverse crew. I was replaced in 2021 on a smaller production as the requirement was to have an Indian(from India) as a location manager. I wonder how much he was paid.

I agree. Not many people hated him before he jumped on Oprah's couch. I noticed how none of his costars have anything bad to say about him.

Thandie Newton disagrees. That said, he's the type of workaholic that would make my investment feel safe.

I went in there and I just basically manifested all the — because I realized what he wanted. He just wanted this alpha bitch. And I did as best as I could. It’s not the best way to get the best work out of someone.

He wasn’t horrible. It was just — he was really stressed. I had the most extraordinary time

Sort of a hit-and-miss relationship.
