Connery's biggest disappointments?


Not his WORST films, but potentially great films that turned out far below their potential. I'd say:

Zardoz (what the fuck was this?)
Cuba (filmed without a script and it showed)
Wrong is Right (too low budget and lacking in focus)
Rising Sun (too jokey and silly)
First Knight (miscasting of Richard Gere sank it)

I tried watching Zardoz once, and never made it through. It was just so strange.

Yes, it is... but it does have an interesting moment here and there... maybe.

I haven't seen Rising Sun in years but I remember liking it. I didn't like First Knight but it's mainly because just like all King Arthur films, it's not based off the Howard Pyle novel.

"Marnie". He got a chance to work with Hitchcock, and it was the worst Hitchcock film!

I sort of liked "Zardoz", it was super cheesy sci-fi and I like that.
