Yes, I'm sure. Every account by people who worked with him praise him for his thoroughly professional demeanor on the set, as well as the lack of any show of ego. The only thing that brings out his ire is a lack of preparedness on the part of any others on the set.
Bitching about not being paid enough is just between him and the producers, and had no effect on his behavior during filming.
