I have no interest in Top Gun II but even so I suspect (1) this is not the kind of film that does anything for anyone's career - except probably Tom Cruise, (2) judging by how little she has worked in the last 10 years I suspect she's just picking stuff that's interesting which fits in with the rest of her family life and is not bothered about being a great big star.
