Calls for Biden to drop out of 2024 presidential race

Sounds like Hollywood is giving up on him.

The crazy thing is they should all have known about his cognitive failings years ago, yet they still supported him. In fact, didn't a bunch of them just make a big ad endorsing him about a month ago?

What changed between then and now?

One thing changed for sure: the public found out. After the debate, there was no more hiding Biden's decline.

reply

George and his cronies had a fundraiser for Biden around the time of the debate. They didn't notice he's incoherent?

reply

Personally, I think the party might be playing a game. They intend to replace Biden with a new candidate at the very last minute, after which their victory could be explained away by this candidate's supposedly youthful energy for which Trump simply was not prepared.

reply

The ultra early first debate was weird as beans no doubt. Once you get used to seeing bad writing in movies, you start seeing it everywhere.

reply

Of course they all knew about Bidens cognitive condition. However they thought they would be able to hide it from all the braindead democrat voters. However they realized that after the debate, they no longer can hide it since the debate couldn't be censored by the mainstream media

reply

And if that were true, why did Biden debate? Why did so many in Hollywood immediately react with horror? It's amazing how humans are almost hard-wired to believe in non-existent conspiracies.

reply

Biden thought he could handle the debate, similar to the way he was able to do the State of the Union address. Hollywood reacted in horror because they realized the regular brain dead voting base will finally see it first hand how bad his condition was. In the past, the mainstream media censored all of Bidens gaffes, so the brain dead voting base wasn't aware of it.
Biden can't drop out since his family needs him in office, so they can continue to make their millions around the world from foreign govts. If Biden does stay in the race, this country will get an accurate count on how many brain dead people are living here, based on how many votes he gets

reply

The main problem with this hypothesis is that it's what scientists term "retarded." The debate was always optional. There was practice leading up to it. With your grand media-government-Hollywood conspiracy, Biden's campaign should have sheltered their candidate.

There's a tendency in politics (and stan culture) to judge people by their worst or best moments. An obvious-as-a-dick-in-the-face problem with this is that it's unrepresentative of the person. Everyone has good and bad moments. Biden's age means he's going to have more bad moments. Recall the Trumpian pre-debate nonsense: Biden's going to be hopped up on performance-enhancing drugs (think about this with respect to falsifiability).

It's just foolish to believe the media "censors" Biden's gaffes. If anything they're trumpeted to conceal decline because observers can credibly say, "Joe Biden has always been a gaffe machine."

As for Hollywood, people like Clooney saw Biden at the fundraiser. It's easy to dismiss because it's just one moment in front of a friendly crowd. It's unacceptable to have these kinds of moments at an inflection point in a race against Donald Trump. This country is already filled with braindead zombies because Trump has received millions of votes. Tens of millions of votes. So many votes. Almost as many Hillary.

reply

People shouldn't vote for emotion or personality. A vote for Trump is a vote to become energy independent as a nation again. Its for having a strong border instead of the chaos we have today. Its for having a foreign policy of peace thru strength instead of having wars breaking out in Ukraine and the Middle East. A vote for Trump is having lower inflation instead of what we are having now. You braindead voters make me sick to my stomach because you aren't smart enough to realize this. You vote for emotion instead. I don't care if Trump is an ego maniac. I'm never going to hang out with the guy

reply

The policies Trump has advocated are inflationary. Peace through strength is a dumb slogan -- almost as mindless as "peace thru strength." Trump's egomania is not a threat because he'll personally give you one scoop of vanilla ice cream to his two. It's a threat because he's a relatively apolitical narcissist concerned about his own self-aggrandizement. This was witnessed when he had one of the all-time great melt-downs and whine-fests at losing the election and staged a coup.

As for my braindead voters... I'm not a Democrat. I've never voted for a Democrat for president in my life, and I won't this year. That said, the Democrats are generally better than Republicans. It's amazing what you think Trump will accomplish when the only major conservative piece of legislation passed was a tax cut for the rich. The Republican Party has long been about converting social grievance to tax cut, and you're just one of the suckers hoodwinked by Trump's conman skills. He's always been adept at getting dumb rubes, and you're just another mark. I normally wouldn't mind if you want to give him money for a fake university or an NFT or a resort. When you give him votes, it affects everyone.

reply

We have seen now each candidate as president. I'm going with the candidate who gave us lower inflation, a strong border and no wars breaking out across the globe

reply

Except Trump did not give us lower inflation. Directionally, inflation increased. Inflation has been high across the globe as a result of the pandemic. People bleating they preferred the inflation rate "four years ago" could just as well have said during Trump's term, "We didn't have a pandemic under Obama." Trump's advocating for inflationary policies. If you think it's going to further decline during his term, you'd have to believe that he cannot rise above his own incompetence and implement his policy agenda -- which is a fair enough view, but wholly inconsistent with the idea that he's a savvy operator.

reply

So lets give a guy who can hardly put together 2 sentences, who also gave us a wide open chaotic border unlike any border in the world another term. You aren't too bright I see

reply

I'm with Clooney in the replace Biden camp. He's incapable of campaigning vigorously. However, if you listened to his NATO press conference, he has a far greater command of facts and details than Trump.

reply

whenever I struggle to decide how to cast my vote, I always consult celebrities.

Did that article say that he's been talking to senators and Governers? Why do they feel the need to talk to Clooney about anything? that's weird

reply

"whenever I struggle to decide how to cast my vote, I always consult celebrities."

Lol šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

reply

Wow. Apparently I'm not the only one that thought your post was funny. This person copied it and made a new thread with it, lmao.

Biden co. clearly ain't following the agenda with what's going down in the Middle East. The apple cart has definitely been turned over. I've never seen such a fast, universal swing shift with the media and "influencers" on the once messiah that could do no wrong.

reply

But the one battle he cannot win is the fight against time. None of us can. Itā€™s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fund-raiser was not the Joe ā€œbig F-ing dealā€ Biden of 2010. He wasnā€™t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate.

Was he tired? Yes. A cold? Maybe. But our party leaders need to stop telling us that 51 million people didnā€™t see what we just saw. Weā€™re all so terrified by the prospect of a second Trump term that weā€™ve opted to ignore every warning sign. The George Stephanopoulos interview only reinforced what we saw the week before. As Democrats, we collectively hold our breath or turn down the volume whenever we see the president, whom we respect, walk off Air Force One or walk back to a mic to answer an unscripted question.

We are not going to win in November with this president. On top of that, we wonā€™t win the House, and weā€™re going to lose the Senate. This isnā€™t only my opinion; this is the opinion of every senator and Congress member and governor who Iā€™ve spoken with in private. Every single one, irrespective of what he or she is saying publicly.

Left love to shoot themselves in the foot time and time again. Ruth Bader Biden at your service.

Real democrats should remove Biden and get a person who is actually pro universal healthcare. Biden is the enemy of real democrats just as much a Trump is.
