But aren't equal rights and equal pay two different things, I'm pretty sure women have equal rights in the U.S.

How about all the actors in that audience who are being paid 10 million a movie for a few months work, take 10& pay cut and donate it someplace the DNC, SAG, whatever so that it can be evenly distributed.
