So, she Latin?
I just watched Tortilla Soup, and before I rip her a new one, can someone please answer if she's always been out about her Latin roots?

shareYes she is Latina, her Father was Bolivian, you can read her bio on IMDB. She still looks good for a 67 year old!

I read somewhere that she and her siblings didn't know much about their Latin roots because their father didn't talk about it. He wanted them to be American. It wasn't until she was in the show American Family that she started exploring her Latin roots. If I remember correctly it said she even made a trip to Bolivia to visit relatives.
sharefunny, she could've been in a movie called "EL MUERTO". around the time she found out about her latin roots.
sharewhat's latin? do you mean mestizo?
shareYeah so what? Would it make any difference if her father was Polish?? Why do people want to make a big deal about crap like this??
shareShe is so obviously Meztizo, however, she said her father was of ''Spanish descent'', and didn't mention his native ancestry, in a recent interview.

Her Father was from Bolivia, which she has mentioned frequently and consistently for years.
She is obviously part native Bolivian. Infact native Bolivians make up the overwhelming (not including the 30% Meztizos, who are mostly native but have European ancestry too).
