Raquel Welch, 73, outshines starlets half her age in leopard-print dress

Yeah, it is scary. There is no way she continues to look that good even with good genes without having some cosmetic surgery done.

I'd say she outshines starlets 1/3 her age. If she has had work done, then it was very well done, because there's nothing plastic-ky or fake about her look at all. She looks like she's simply aged gracefully. Some people just have extremely good genes when it comes to how well their skin ages.

Big deal if she has had a little work done. She had to have something going for her in that whatever work she needed was just a little bit and so that at 73 she can still pass for a woman of no older than her early 50s. When I think of some of her contemporaries who look like a shadow of their former selves (Nancy Kovack, who facially was the one woman in the 60s who could match Raquel for perfection) Raquel's ability to still outshine all the wannabes of the present age is all the more remarkable.

Raquel is also one of the few who can wear something leopard print and make it look like a natural extension of her persona whereas others who wear it can sometimes come off as tacky. Whenever I see Raquel in leopard I keep bemoaning the fact she never got to do the "Sheena" movie project she signed for back in 1975 (and which was ultimately made a decade later with a poorly cast Tanya Roberts).

She's 73 and a famous actress/model, so she definitely has had plastic surgery. I always see the "has good genes" argument, and that's why someone has such a smooth, tight face. People are astonishingly stupid if they really believe that. Look at her arms, hands, and chest: wrinkled, not as taut, etc. You mean to tell me that she has good genes everywhere but her face? lol wat

No one can defy gravity and physics in one area of their body, and not everywhere else. It's scientifically impossible.

She looks beautiful though! No shame in having a touch up or two, I don't know why stars are so hesitant to admit it :)

Lol, she's had a ton of plastic surgery, not just a little bit. Starting early in her career in the 60's and ever since. So there's no "something going for her" other than that she started out attractive when she was young.
And Nancy Kovack and others simply decided to grow old gracefully instead of paying for loads of plastic surgery.
It's fine if someone wants to work on looking attractive as they age, but to ignore the reality of massive amounts of plastic surgery is just silly.
