Can anyone think of a child actor / actress that reached the level of fame and success she did?

My first thought was Drew Barrymore but she wasn't really pushed the way Shirley was.

There are a few child actors / actresses that I think could have if drugs and other factors didn't interfere with their careers 😔

She was. I watched a very interesting documentary about her a while back that was pretty sad. That fame came with a price, sadly 😔

Those are good examples. Elle certainly seems to be doing much better and more than her sister Dakota. 🤔

I agree, but I don't think anyone else has reached that level because she (or her handlers) essentially invented the concept of a child star and the novelty was fresh and long lived. Much like The Beatles, it's hard to imagine another child star with such longevity. Culkin is still the closest I can name to reaching that level of fame where he was a household name for years on end.
